Mizuno MP67 Goes Roughly As Far As A 7 Or 8 Iron Would With A Good Strike

Mizuno, world's number one producer of forged irons, introduces the new MP-67, offering players superior ball control through design.

An iron definitely aimed at the better golfer, the 2007 mizuno mp 67 are a beautifully designed set of clubs that look great, featuring the characteristics of Mizunos classic blades. A rolled leading edge, cambered mid-sole, and rolled trailing edge deliver consistent striking ability from all types of lies, and modified U-grooves produce the ideal spin rate for maximum playability from anywhere on the course. The general results were that a poorly hit shot was about 1 club to 2 clubs short on average through the set. Meaning an MP-67 6 iron poorly hit, goes roughly as far as a 7 or 8 iron would with a good strike. The MP-68 Blade moves away from the cut muscle design that the MP-67 had and resembles the MP-37 with the muscle back developing from the toe area.

The MP-67 long irons achieve a mid-high trajectory, while the scoring irons deliver a mid-trajectory. This new material meets specifications six-times tighter than the industry standard. Like with the MP-62 ironns from Mizuno, these clubs definitely require a good and repeatable golf swing in order to be effective in players hands. Mis-hits that did hit the green with the mizuno mp 67 irons, like with most irons, didn't respond quite so well. Hitting a fade or draw can be easily achieved with these an MP-67 iron. Though when setting up for one of those types of shots, it's important to hit the ball well and put a good swing on the club. The muscle back lines and edges however are smoother on the MP-68 than the MP-37 and some in Japan have said it reminds them of the classic MP-14 with its curved muscle back and sharp toe.

However one thing that was very clear was that mis-hits with the mizuno mp 67 irons for sale are relatively short distance wise. The forgiveness accuracy wise isn't too bad for blades, but hit a shot poorly and you likely wont be making the green. The MP-67TM offers unmatched ball control by utilizing a new "Slender" Cut MuscleTM Design to precisely position the COG from iron to iron. Utilizing our Grain Flow Forging and Cut MuscleTM technology, the design team was able to provide a neutral COG relative to the shaft axis and a consistent sweet spot location for exact trajectory and distance control. The perception of feel is enhanced by a 5% headweight shift into the strike area, while the use of high grade 1025E Pure mild carbon steel in Mizuno's Grain Flow Forging process promises unparalleled consistency. Mizuno has also followed suit with its 2009 design guidlines by placing the running bird logo on the sole and the model MP-68 with new MP logo in the toe corner.

Mizuno's MP models in recent years but its a consistent pattern. Right now there are sets on ebay and in certain forums of possible fakes. So be careful!
